Question about Mini HDMI Output from graphics card

I am planning to get a eVGA GeForce GT 740 because my motherboard only has 1 HDMI port and the other two video output ports(VGA & DVI) are, from what I have read, not supported so I plan to use the Mini HDMI port in the GT 740 to use a second monitor. I was wondering if using the Mini HDMI on the graphics card would output video.

HDMI on the card should work but DVI is also fully supported by OS X.
