FYI: Dell does not make trackpads.

Sorry for the confusion :(. I thought that trackpad = touchpad...

Either you had Synaptics or you have ALPS and found the bpedman branch of my driver with ALPS support.

I think I found the ALPS. There was a RehabmanMerge folder in it and I installed the kext from there.

What WiFi do you have? Use DPCIManager->PCI List to find out. Unless you have supported hardware, you'll need to replace it.

This is the info shown in PCI List related to WiFi:
8086, 0887, 8086, 4462, Intel Corporation, Centrino Wireless-N 2230

Thanks.

You are correct about trackpad vs. touchpad. They are different terms for the same thing. But Dell does not make them, no matter what you call them.

That's what I figured (Dell uses ALPS trackpads usually...)

It is not supported. You'll need to replace it. See: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/104850-guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.html

I solved the WiFi problem by buying a wireless adaptor EDIMAX EW-7811UN. This works with Mac OS. Thanks.
