Hello, I have an MSI GE70

Specs:

Intel i7 4700MQ
Nvidia 765m w/ optimus(I know this needs to be disabled)
12gb ram
and I am installing this on a Crucial m500 240gb

I made a unibeast installer for mavericks based on this guide:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html

I used Unibeast to install and I got to the screen where I can type in bootflags. When I hit enter, I got a black screen followed by a the Apple Logo screen followed by rebooting.

I then read about some Haswell issues here:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...cked-msrs-hp-envy-15-j063cl-i7-4700mq-17.html

I downloaded the kernel but do not know how to put it into the installer to help with booting.

Please help, I have very little idea of how to fix this.

I followed your patch instructions for OSX Mavericks up until it talks about

"After you install OS X to your HDD, you will have vanilla mach_kernel on the HDD, leading to the same instant reboot problem. So, you must re-enter the OS X installer, and go into Terminal (using Utilities -> Terminal) and replace the mach_kernel with the patched version:
Code:
# in Terminal from the OS X installer, assuming your HDD volume is called "Macintosh HD"
cp /mach_kernel "/Volumes/Macintosh HD/mach_kernel"

After that, you can exit the installer, and boot into the installed partition to finish installation and reach the desktop."

because I can't boot into my laptop. When I boot with GraphicsEnabler=No -x -v IGPEnabler=
04060000

I get this screen:

What am I doing wrong? What boot flags should I be using?

You need to remove the nvidia kexts (NV*, Geforce*).

How do I delete those?

Do I access that from the computer I made the installer with? If so, I just right click the installer and hit "Show package contents"

Also, what boot flags do I need?

Yes... as you'll be modifying/removing from the USB, correct?

The files are hidden so you need to use ShowAllFiles to see the System directory.

I always unhide a few things:
Code:
# in Terminal, assuming you named your USB Installer.
cd /Volumes/Installer
sudo chflags -R nohidden System
sudo chflags -R nohidden Extra
sudo chflags nohidden mach_kernel

Also, what boot flags do I need?

It depends on your hardware, and I see your profile does not reflect what you're working on.

Please provide complete details in your profile.

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + screen resolution
