Remove IMEI fix. There is no need for it and it is doing the wrong thing anyway...

In fact, it is best to avoid all Clover DSDT "fixes". Generally, they will just cause problems.

i remove every Fix from clover . . and boot with -F , reboot , boot , reboot , boot. the same ... now im getting linux to see ... the PCI.

Post 'lspci -nn' results when you have them.

No IMEI (8086:1e3a) device there... OS X Intel HD graphics will not work properly unless it is present.

It is a hardware problem. You should send the board back or contact the manufacturer. A BIOS update might also help (because perhaps it will flash new MEI firmware).

well, this was unexpected at all. the board come with the last bios firmware so No update.
1. why windows work ?
2. why linux work ?
why this other operatin system dont have a problem with MEI firmware.
what is the reason i send back the laptop... they ask me for some reason...

Windows and Linux will work without IMEI although certain features will be missing. On Windows, support for HD-audio over HDMI is dependent on IMEI, for example.

OS X is more picky and requires IMEI to be present for HD graphics acceleration.

Send the board back. It is defective.

Just to be certain, you might check BIOS options to be sure there isn't something disabling. Setting BIOS to defaults, for example. In fact, it is likely the manufacturer support dept. will have you do just that.

hmm, thats explain why windows audio act funny .
i put headphones jack in , and i have Volume button 1 for Headphones ..and 1 for build-in-spek and in the same time i can control volum level and the sound work on the both of device in the same time.

i will try to burn original bios the same i have..
is not so easy to sent to asus rma without a reason, how to i find out that IMEI is missing. asus is complectly jokers.

everything is default , only safe boot is disabled.

I don't think it affects normal on-board audio function. Just the ability to playback advanced formats such as Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-MA, etc.

If the Intel MEI driver is failing to install on Windows, you might use that as a reason. That and the fact that you can't play advanced HD-audio formats over HDMI. Of course, to claim that you'd have to become versed in how such formats are created and the software involved in playing them back (a learning curve in itself).

You could also compare lspci output from a working machine as compared to your defective one.

everything is default , only safe boot is disabled.

I was just thinking that a BIOS reset might kick something around. You could also try EC reset.

what battery are we talking about , the little one or the big one that power the notebook?

1. Turn notebook OFF with button, hold 4 seconds.
2. Remove recharge plug
3. Remove battery !!!my battery is build-in i cant access it , and if so i access it i cant remove it.
4. Leave it like this for about 5 minutes.
5. Put everything back and power the laptop again.

The big one (not the CMOS battery).

Even with an Ultrabook, you'll likely find a removable battery inside. My 430 has a built-in battery but is easily disconnected after the back cover is removed.
