Yes, it is working after i deactivated the wake on usb in bios.
That is strange because it worked in all OS X versions from Mavericks till now.

10.11 has an all new USB stack.

Hello guys,
I have updated my HP with OS X 10.10.4 by 10.11 beta 2 using PBI. Some issues:
- wakeup after sleep -> no crash but dark screen
- graphics card -> OsxAptioFixDrv installed by PBI with Clover blocked booting with my AMD. Exchange by OsxAptioFix2Drv helped
- frame buffer -> original Clover injection configured for my HP 8470p/AMD by PBI is Typha. I found problems with screen refresh rate 60Hz, exchange to 40 Hz and then again 60 Hz helped. But still problems with screen after booting to Recovery partition. So then I found that other framebuffer works better - Ebi. No problems with screen refresh rate and no problem with booting into recovery partition. DP/HDMI works. No HDMI audio.

I hope above info may help Nguyenmac make some improvements in his fantastic project.

El Capitan installed on HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G1(Intel wifi/BT card was replaced with Dell DW 1560) using latest Probook installer 6.3.7.5.

Almost everything worked immediately after install except Bluetooth and weak sound.
For sound had to follow step 14.
14. If you can boot and you don't have sound:
- repair permissions in Disk Utility.
- restart.
- boot without caches
- rebuild cache with kext wizard
- reboot 2x

Actually sound works but sound some how much weaker in comparison to Ubuntu.
Bluetooth is not working at all and not shown in system profile.

Please help if you can with sound and BT.

HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G1 was not available to select in the PBI so I selected 6x0/8x0 G1/ZBook option.

Different USB port, different stick. Create only two partitions (200MB Clover, rest for OS X installer).

Keep it simple.

I Finally Erased the Windows partition as MAC partition. Installed Yosemite, updated to El Capitan, ran PBI, and now can use El Capitan. Then installed the Windows again.

Everything working fine except there is no sound now. I found there is help in guide in this regard. But I didn't understand that.

14. If you can boot and you don't have sound:
- repair permissions in Disk Utility.
- restart.
But there is no repair permissions option in Disk Utility. I tried such option in Kext Wizard, but issue not solved.

- boot without caches
How to do that? I tried Rebuild Cache many times in Kext Wizard.

- rebuild cache with kext wizard
- reboot 2x
Tried many times.

Any help?

Sound working now. At clover screen I had to press Spacebar to get Boot without cache option.

I've finally managed to install El capitan. At first I had problem with "mounting outer dmg", but I solved it with manual way 2b)
Everything seems to be working, but I have one annoying bug: when I log out or reboot, all 3rd party programs (Google Chrome, Skype etc) show window that they start for the first time. I've tried to fix permissions, do EC reset, check all volumes with diskutil but none of this helped and they show these windows again :( I wonder if it's El Capitan bug or mine? If it's mine, how
it can be fixed?

Thanks

I googled El Capitan bugs and found out that but with the "opening for the first time" can be related with sandbox mode in 10.11.

But I've found another bug: my probook can't wake up from sleep :( the screen remains black and nothing happens. Is this fixable or it's again PB related?

Thanks

And I think that if I don't close the laptop it reboots when it goes to sleep :(

Hello guys,
I have updated my HP with OS X 10.10.4 by 10.11 beta 2 using PBI. Some issues:
- wakeup after sleep -> no crash but dark screen

- frame buffer -> original Clover injection configured for my HP 8470p/AMD by PBI is Typha. I found problems with screen refresh rate 60Hz, exchange to 40 Hz and then again 60 Hz helped. But still problems with screen after booting to Recovery partition. So then I found that other framebuffer works better - Ebi. No problems with screen refresh rate and no problem with booting into recovery partition. DP/HDMI works. No HDMI audio.

I hope above info may help Nguyenmac make some improvements in his fantastic project.

You're using Ebi without framebuffer patch right? Does it work in 10.10?

Switching OsxAptioFixDrv to OsxAptioFix2Drv may cause some problems on other models, maybe I can only do that on your model... Or I can wait until 10.11 final?

I hope other people with same laptop can test as well.
