How To Install OS X Yosemite Using Clover

Multibeast can work if you only select the exact things you need. Do one at a time otherwise if there is an issue you'll have a hard time figuring out what is the cause.

Most inexperienced users try to fill out all pages and install another bootloader and mess up Clover. Just safer to not use MultiBeast in the long run.

I only actually selected to two options and in the build section only two of them showed up. I selected the "AL898" and "Optional EFI Installed Bootloader Support" just because it only let me saved with just the AL898 driver. I actually follow another guide and that's what the other member did

Most likely just kexts. Test your wake from dead sleep (power down) and see if audio still works. If not you may want to try thje ALC100 command as it seems to have better support.

The audio only work with MultiBeast driver install method. It didn't work with the Clover install.

There is another patch for getting iMessage to work. I forget as I don't use it as I have no camera.

Hopefully the fresh install will fix it. I tried the iMessage_debug method and got my ROM and MLB code already and saved it to my config.plist file using Clover Configurator on the USB Yosemite installer.

I forget where, but you can set it to zero seconds or something for quick boot.

Got that working now after using Clover Configurator and setting the Volume

You just may need a fresh reinstall without MultiBeast. All you should need is FakeSMC and your internet driver on the usb and internet is optional.

Yeah I think I'm going to try that. Do you happened to know if there is a AL989 kext that I got install with Clover. I'm trying to get everything to work with one USB installation.

after i re-installed 10.10.3 with Clover (v3202) i always get a "Panic Report" after boot

This should make it work.

download the audio_CloverALC-100.command.zip and it should work on an untouched system, if not maybe try the audio_Clover-110.command.zip as it is the newest version.

Tried doing a fresh Clover install and now FaceTime doesn't work.
It says
FaceTime wants to use your confidential information stored in "IDS: _____________@_____.com-AuthToken" in your keychain.

I click allow and it the login screen keeps coming up and I enter the password and the same thing happens.

Any idea why its doing this? I think it be the config.plist I replaced in EFI when I use iMessage_Debug to find the ROM and MLB values

gpu: nvidia GTX 460 (I don't think I've reached a point where this matters yet)

You and michphilipp both need to boot with -v (verbose mode) so it prints out text and not pictures so you can take pictures of the errors and post then we can hopefully diagnose what went wrong.

I have Yosemite up and running through Chimera. I wanted to try Clover, so I tested on a USB drive and it worked. So I want to copy that over to my actual boot drive.

However, I've been struggling to create an EFI partition on my boot drive. Ends up, my boot drive has a Partition Map Scheme of Master Boot Record. Not sure how I did that because I thought OS X had to be on a GPT partition map.

Do I basically have to wipe my boot drive and start all over if I want an EFI partition on my drive?
