the 34" 5K has both a TB3 input and DP1.4 you see it in the spec (https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-34WK95U-W-ultrawide-monitor) it was also confirmed by a LG agent on the LG forums where they announced it.
but just looking at a few store here, they show it as available on January 1, 2019.. Why would you bother announcing something so much ahead of time and cannibalize your own sale is beyond me.
They delayed it a few times.
It’s funny because they’ve been providing Apple with 5K panels for years, and they can’t even make one for themselves. (Except the Ultrafine 5K)
Here in Germany the expected availability in nearly all online stores seems to be "in approx. 3 weeks"..
@izo1, I guess that's the perfect display covering all your needs.
TB 3 and DisplayPort 1.4 hopefully will prevent all possible incompatibilities with your Vega.
The native 5K2K screen resolution moreover perfectly suites your Adobe software requirements.
I am tempted to sell my LG 38UC99-W and to also opt for the LG 34WK95U-W.
The 38 inch version of the latter display, I was dreaming of, likely will not be announced before Q3/Q4 2019.
Thank You KGP!i9-7920X ACPI Replacements linked in the guide, my friend
Thank You KGP!
My system seems more stable now! haven't had a crash or lockup since. was there a change to the usb drivers by chance? one of my drives don't seem to read on the usb 3 ports? I can remember if this was previously present in my setup..
All set for Mojave?
No change to USB drivers..
Yea, all set for Mojave.. just to perform a last boring vanilla macOS system update via the Appstore once the final version has been released ..
BTW.. I expect 10.14 GM to be distributed by beginning of next week..
Thats Awesome! I wonder If my current setup is going to be compatible, I worry about the 1050Ti ..
