Hello community,
To introduce myself little bit, I'm a semi-professional video editor who also enjoys playing PC games.
Currently I own late-2012 27" iMac and it's getting outdated and I can't really upgrade this computer. (I also have bootcamp for gaming purposes as gaming in MacOS isn't the best option)
So I've been spending some time looking at the hackintosh options and I noticed that bootcamp doesn't work but with Clover it is possible to dual-boot, and there are some YouTube videos out there but some seems outdated and it seems like the setup process is different depending on the build.
(I have not built a PC before so I'm not completely comfortable with all the terms in the setup, but I'm not lazy I do a lot of research and I'm willing to learn to make it work)
And also, one thing I couldn't find was if I can partition SSD and HDD for two platforms (SSD will be OS drives for Windows 10 and OS X El Captian, so I know they will work), if I make a partition in HDD as one of them as Mac OS Extended, and other one as Windows ExFat(Something like that?) will they automatically be usable in OS X El Captian and Windows 10 without any setup?
I may have not made much sense, if you need clarification of what I'm asking please let me know, I want to do a lot of research before I make the decision of making a Hackintosh
And here is a build I came up with looking at different Hackintosh community websites
