So. Any news about kexts for touchpad without DSDT patching and with no lots of power usage?
We will always have to patch our DSDT (which is not really a bad thing). I'm just waiting for the changes to show up on GitHub before posting the newer files together with instructions.

I also got the USB-C port to work 100%, hot-plugging included. I used to have TB3 turned off as this allowed me to hot-plug my USB-C dongle. This however resulted in the HDMI output not working after putting the machine to sleep and waking it back up. As you may know leaving TB3 turned on in our BIOS results in hot-plugging not working. The fix I propose is based on the patches provided here by @dpassmor. Our USB-C controller can be found under _SB.PCI0.RP13.PXSX. There, the method _RMV has to be modified so that it always returns One or, alternatively, HPCE (which stores a value equal to one). The end result looks like this:
Code:
Scope (_SB.PCI0.RP13.PXSX)
    {
        Method (_RMV, 0, NotSerialized) // _RMV: Removal Status
        {
            Return (HPCE)
        }
    }
Of course, use it at your own risk. I will do some more testing but I haven't had any unexpected issues so far.

So with USB-C working properly and the touchpad slowly getting there... finding a way to get our audio to work consistently is the only remaining issue before we could call our build perfect!

Updating (security update, as well MacBook Pro Complementary Update v2) don't work. After restart in to the Update from Mac partition he installs for ages and ends up with that screen:
View attachment 404365

I think it has something to do with my clover. Because same happens when I try to start in to Recovery or in to my Installations Stick again. Any Idea how to fix that? Or at least get rid of that Install from Mac partition.

Second, mini display port is not supported, am I right? Just to make sure I didn't make an mistake.
You have to boot using your Clover usb stick... for whatever reason the image you attached does not show up but I'm pretty sure you got to the messed up apple logo screen. If you boot using your usb stick the update will proceed without a hitch.

Yep. That's true - it's working. I've use that patch about a month.

Hey Guys first off thanks for all the info i have Mojave up and Running on my New Blade 2019 W/ RTX2060 which replaced my 2012 Macbook Pro

1: im wondering a few things. there is instructions to disable the GTX Card with DSDT patching. is there an equivelant to Disable the RTX cards? i don't have the SSDT-10-OptTabl.dsl listed in the guide the only OptTabl dsl i Have is SSDT-12-OptTabl.ds and i'm assuming that is due to the RTX Card mainly wanting to disable it to save some battery since well it cant be used at all

2: Fans is there a fix for my fans being on 100% of the time they cut off in windows when idle but not in Mojave
they are not super loud nor is it much of an issue. mostly a nice to have fix that may save a tiny bit of power

3: this has probably been asked many times but as for Wifi when i look for Mojave compatible cards i seem to really only find either NGFF or Desktop PCI adapters/cards. what are recommendations for a good wifi card in Mojave that would essentially be plug and play and where is a good place to get one?

Thanks Peoples

If the patch listed here does not apply to your case why don't you follow this guide instead?

Your fan issue sounds very strange since I'm also on Mojave and my fans barely even spin. I would suggest that you check your temperatures first to make sure everything looks ok there. This is most probably an issue associated with your NVIDIA card not being disabled (thus constantly drawing power and leading to excess heat even though it's not actually used). Take care of your first issue and this one should go away as well.

As for your WiFi, @vettz500 has already given you the correct answer:
Upgraded Network card (The one that comes with the Razer Blade is not compatible with OSX). This is sort of optional, if you wanted integrated WiFi to work, you need to do this. Otherwise you will have to get a compatible USB WiFi Dongle.
Recommendation for a Network card: BCM94352Z (DW-1560)
Just make sure you buy Dell's M.2 variant of the card (DW-1560) and not the one made by Lenovo. Unfortunately the one we need is the more expensive option. I use this card on Mojave with Handoff, iMessage, Facetime etc. all enabled and working.

No go on VoltageShift. We don't have access to the OC Mailbox, it's locked.
You are right, it does indeed report so, which makes no sense though since on Windows I had no problem undervolting. I’m pretty sure it reports garbage; I was able to set the offsets and the system behaves differently when benchmarked. I’m not 100% sure it works yet but will test it a bit more and let you know.

Edit: had a quick look at the code; "OC mailbox cmd failed" is printed right above "Digital I/O" and seems to refer to this, and this only. This option is greyed out in ThrottleStop too, I reckon-- but I'm too lazy to boot into Windows and check now...

Same transition here, but with the 2070 version :)

1. Just follow the guide like normal but use the SSDT-12-OptTabl.dsl. It's just the numbering that is off, everything else works just like in the guide. It's a different laptop, so these kind of differences are to be expected.

2. Fans should calm down once you disable the dGPU.

3. Get the DW-1560 as @unagi suggested, works perfect in Windows as well. Even better than the stock Intel card, which was dropping connections all the time for me. If you follow the guide then it should just detect it natively once you plug it in.

My Mojave install boots up successfully only one out of three times. Have the 2018 model. Anyone else experiencing this? The ACPIBattery warning will keep printing when it fails to boot.

I have a similar issue. First it happened rarely, now almost every second time. When my 2018 model starts, at some point it eater tears the apple logo apart for a split second and starts up, or the loading bar gets slower and slower till I end up at the messed up apple logo. If you get a fix for that, let me know.

Update:
I figured out how to use verbose mode. Here is the last state.
