I have added some kextpatches that didn't seem to take. Only seem to have headphone output still


However, if I add this conexant patch that I found here(also attached)

it activates microphone(both built-in and headphones mic). Not sure how.

Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Ive got everything working now and am going to install all kexts to L/E



Turns out my codec , CX 8150, had different pins then the guy who was helping me.


If anybody needs this alc kext, hit me up.

I repost my questions, if any people have the answsers, it will be cool.

First, many many thanks for your amazing hard work and this complete guide.
I used your guide for my Asus UX303UA, installing Mojave 10.14.1, and the gold ranking is not so far.

I have some little problems, if any guys have the answer :
- When I try to compile SSDT 3 and 5, I have compilation errors (like missing } for exemple). I copied all others SSDT in APCI/patched. Is it a problem if 2 are missing?
- I don't have multi touch working. How do you do please? Is any kext or patch needed I forgot? (I tried VoodooI2C.kext 2.1.4 and 1.0.0 Asus)...
- My keyboard backlight doesn't work, I don't know why

With only Intel HD graphics (eg. no dual GPU), there is no need to place any OEM SSDTs in ACPI/patched.

Is any chance for making touchpad and keyboard backlight working? I think its the last things for making my Asus fully compatible with Mojave.

this morning, I removed the ssdts and reboot. -> Trackpad was the same (not working).
I found this content (https://github.com/alexandred/VoodooI2C/blob/master/Documentation/Installation.md) and I tried to patch my DSDT with the 3 patched (windows 10 patch, GPIO Controller and I2C controller) and used the last kext version 2.1.4 Sleep issue (core + HID) but it doesn't work.
I tried all satellites but same issue.

I don't know why. I'm lost.
Is any people have an idea for me please?

No need to patch that file.
Your profile indicates only HD graphics (no dual GPU). Therefore, you should only be patching DSDT.
