Hey folks,
Thanks for your constant help and awesome tools.
I'm currently doing a build for a friend and it's working great, except for the Graphics.
What I did:
Did my install per the guide, used Clover and some tips from this thread from a user who has very similar hardware to mine.
Did a regular install booting using nv_disable.
I installed the web driver using the nvidia-update script.
I installed Lilu and WhateverGreen (latest versions, checked today) on /L/E using Hackintool.
Problem:
When I'm booting with the web driver installed and no nv_disable, I get a black screen with a cursor, and then the login screen without cursor, and then black screen with cursor, and then login screen without... and so on...
General Status:
Everything seems to be working as expected, except for the audio that I haven't tested and the Graphics, since I have to boot with nv_disable to be able to login.
What I've tried to fix it:
Confirmed I'm using the latest Kexts for Lilu and WhateverGreen.
Confirmed I installed the correct (and latest) web driver.
Verified from IOReg that Lilu and WhateverGreen are being loaded.
Rebuilt the Kernel Cache.
Removed the GFX0 to IGPU, PEG0 to GFX0 & HECI to IMEI from my config.plist per the iDiot's Guide To Lilu and...
Confirmed nvram is working (I'm using EmuVariableUefi.efi) using Hackintool
Attached:
.zip created with black.dragon74's macOS DEBUG REPORT GENERATOR v4.3.3
I'm completely stuck as I've read dozens and dozens of threads, tried a lot of solutions only to arrive to the same problem.
Switching to an RX series GPU is not an option right now, unfortunately.
Any help or pointers are greatly appreciated.
