Well, Booting without the boot flag cpus=1 will result in a stuck screen
  • -v: After:
DYLIB_FIPS_POST: FIPS USER Space POST Success!
    it gets stuck (See photo).
  • Boot flags that I use: kernel-dev-mode=1 dart=0 nv_disable=1
  • I followed RehabMan's guide of Native power management for laptop's but I don't know how to verify success of this guide.
  • Nvidia Web Driver installed but nvda_drv=1 will result in the same situation
  • With the boot flag cpus=1 it just completely boots up and fully work. Except the GPU is not detected in the ECC of the Nvidia driver panel.
  • The laptop is going to be used for Vectorworks, a architect proram, so all 4 cores and a GPU would be nice.
Sincerely,
Dielof

Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (omit 'themes' folder).
Attach output of 'lspci -nn' in Linux Terminal.

Attached the Clover.
But how can I possibly install (Kali) Linux while there is OSX on my SSD?

Linux can be run directly from USB.

Linux can be run directly from USB.
  • I couldn't get Kali Linux (live) to run lspci. It just freezed the terminal (tried 3 times)
  • Tried Fedora, which didn't boot
  • Tried Puppy Linux (idk)
  • Tried ubuntu: I couldn't get the live version working so this is lspci output from grub (couldn't put -nn in, hope it still works):
grub> lspci
