hello, sorry for a very very late answer but have not been online for a few weeks until now. did you get a solution to the problem? if not, I solved it by opening clover configurator and mount the EFI partition form there and then copied the EFI folder used in the guide, and then you should be able to use (UEFI) your usb flash drive and boot into the installer, hope this helpsHi espennk,
I have the same problem (installation don't start and the process come back into the bios), but you don't show how you have solved.

When you install in UEFI mode the EFI partition is used.I tried to mount the EFI partition of my USBInstaller using clover configurator or EFI mounter v3 but the EFI mounted is empty.
When you install in UEFI mode the EFI partition is used.
When you install in Legacy mode the /EFI folder on the flash drive is used.
