Chip in the TV for HDMI audio, volume control is one of the chip's functions.audio controller
HDMI audio is a digital signal, no volume control at the source; by design.I tested on TOSHIBA TV too, Volume controller disabled in both
HDMI device (SAMSUNG / TOSHIBA) missed after rebooting.
