so i have a old mac mini mid 2007, it can boot in 64 efi but the reason apple blocked it from running higher os than lion was no gma 950 support in 64bit osx.
so i recently added a 150 ssd and noticed the wifi slot could be used with an egpu to at least get el captain running with a native supported gpu, my issue is how viable is it that this will work cause i do have el captian installed and booting only its got no acceleration. i'd even be happy using my spare 750ti with my egpu with web drivers.
so would it work? would i need to mod the case or keep it open, cause if i need it open id keep it all it in a old matx case i have so its not exposed.

ps. i have a hackintosh but its not being used as a mac atm
