10.8.2 Nvidia 680 freezes on boot

Paul: try installing the Nvidia Drivers for Mountain Lion. In the past that has helped with some freeze ups for me. Worth a shot.
 
i don't post much because i am able to solve my own errors

i also have a 680 2gb video card, that used to reboot,not sure if this helps

I had a similar problem in a Asus Gamers Laptop and found out the voodooHDA I was using was the cause. Isn't there any AUdio component on the Graphics side HDMI etc? I know that the VoodooHDA is only suppose to drive the Audio only component but the version of VoodooHDA I had used also seem to interfere somehow with the graphics audio driver portion and I would get random freezes.
