Hi there! My CPU fan is just driving me crazy. 100% RPM starts on booting screen and not stopping till shutting down. CPU is cold as hell (sorry for that oxymoron). I'm not able to control fan speed neither with HWMonitor nor with any other fan manager. What I've done: 1) Freshly installed...

High Sierra 10.13.3, Can't boot without "cpus=" Help!

So I've gotten 10.13.3 mostly installed, but I can't for the life of me get it running stable with my CPU. The only way I can get it to boot is with some variation of "cpus=". Usually I can boot with cpus=1, but only have one cpu thread active. Sometimes, however, I can boot with cpus=10 and at...

So I've gotten High Sierra mostly up and running. The one issue I can't seem to figure out is how to utilize all 6 cpu cores. I can't boot without cpus=1 hince why I can only utilize 1 core. I installed with clover, but have also tried installing multibeasts 6-core cpu driver with no luck. If I...

[SOLVED] High Sierra: HWsensors iStats Menu don't display CPU Temps

I have installed the latest Hwsensors 6.16.1372 and then have placed the Fakesmc.kext in folder named "10.13" from "Other" (Is that where it is suppose to be btw?). As a last result I've installed Intel Power Gadget. None of these made the CPU temp sensors appear. Anybody know what to do? Thanks!

[Solved] About the damn kernel_task lagging my Sierra.

My Sierra works perfectly if I constantly use it. After leaving it there for one minute or so, I am back to use it again. It works fine for a few sec, but then it began to lag(super lag but still working). Around 20sec later, it automatically fixed the lag. To find out the reason, I launched...

P9X79 Deluxe | Sandy Bridge E Processor (i7-3930k) Power Management on Sierra

You may have noticed that your CPU runs at its max clock speed on a vanilla hackintosh install. This is bad for two reasons - it is actually slower than the normal stepping curves Intel generates (no turbo boost), and wastes a ton of power/CPU life. Fear not - you can inject an SSDT into Clover...
