Looking at @Steeeeeeve GitHub page, it looks like big improvements are coming  (also BIOS-wise).
I installed the color calibration profile and indeed, the quality of the screen is better than ever. I am adding the step in the main post.
Right now the real only frustration of mine is the...
Hi @Steeeeeeve . Thank you for the nice words, but you are the one doing the real work here. I am just trying to keep track of what people say.
Indeed, I can post on the Mojave forum a similar guide. I was waiting the final release to put it on my machine as I am using it as my daily driver...
Hi MarkCanada, the original guide has been updated to reflect some of the recent developments on this thread. I also added a mention to the new version of this laptop. As of right now, there is little information on the GTX edition of the Xiaomi Notebook Pro, and I don't think anyone has been...
I finally updated the main post. All contributions should have been credited. If not, please let me know. Sorry for taking so much time to update the guide. You guys rock!
P.S.: Anyone tried 10.13.5 yet?
As you can read from the above post from @RehabMan, it is not possible to use the internal WiFi card, due to an incompatibility of the Intel chipset. Unfortunately the only solution right now seems to be a WiFi dongle.
Indeed, gestures have small hiccups from time to time and swipes between pages do not work. Unfortunately this is something related to the VoodooI2C drivers which I am unable to address.
(Some) three fingers gestures work to me as expected. Five fingers give KP. Also, three fingers drag does...
I cannot test this right now since I lost my external HDD install and the internal SSD is not shown by the installer. I'll report back as soon as I get it to work.
EDIT: Dumb me was trying to install Sierra and not HS. With HS internal SSD is recognised no problem.
Is anyone else having problem with the installer not seeing the internal SSD?

Can you share your clover folder? As soon as I have some time I'll look into it and update the OP accordingly. Working Bluetooth might be of interest to many
Maybe I am wrong, but I think (even if the system sees the card) there is no way to have an MX150 working under Mac OS X as it uses a technology that Apple never wrote drivers for.
As mentioned in the current guide, audio through the headphone jack somewhat works, but the current solution is not ideal.
@deniscabaldi mentioned to be looking into a fix. I'll update the guide to reflect any development on the issue.
I can confirm that you need to download the full MacOS installer (around 5.2 GB) to get MacOS working on your Mi Notebook Pro using this guide. I was able to obtain it using a MacBook Pro. I have never tried using the Patcher app, so I do not know whether that image would work.
That is very strange indeed. I have also tried a fresh install and it works (even on Sierra 10.12.6).
As @deniscabaldi has said, I think we are at a very good point right now. My only concern is that I still have not found a working USB wireless adapter. Anyone has gotten better luck?
