Yeah I did fix it,vand it was a stupid mistake. Basically I had done everything right, except I made my thumb drive as os x J, not ms-dos. As tony stresses, read carefully as its easy to miss bits! Cheers, Chris

Thanks for the reply. I am currently zero-ing out the USB drive (3 pass). I just tried to download unibeast again, and while the .zip is called unibeast 1.5.1, when you actually open the program it only says 1.5.0. Any other thoughts? I'm 99% sure the stick is ok, as I have had this issue...

From my experiences, i can only get chameleon or chimera taking orders via a PS/2 keyboard. I've tried a few different USB keyboards, including the apple numerical keyboard, to no avail. I'd suggest the $10 special. Cw

Your right I was using the realtec kext. Ended up pulling CMOS battery and doing a fresh install, and it seems to be stable. The two apps in questions are running perfectly, so ill start loading my other content on tonight. Thanks everyone for your help. Cw
