Hey Guys,

Im currently working on this build and my Current issue is Every Time I get to the Point where It tries to actually Install Mavericks It always Says its corrupt. I've tried Several Downloads on different computers and Different USBs. My Next Attempt is to try and updated Clover Installer I was using r2988 Previously.

Just looking for any Insight on the Issue.

Got the system up and running, Had to use UniBeast to make the Maverick Installer, then just followed the steps after Installation.

A new issue has arise concerning the RAM. I have 64 GB in right now 8 x8GB GSkill, but the OS X is only allowing 32GB?? says my other Slots are Empty. My Bios Sees all ram slots as full and functional.

Hey Shilohh im working as an editor and i was thinking to copy your build . The only thing i wanted to ask u is what GPU u recommend cause i will work mostly on FCPX and i was informed that FCPX is working great with AMD GPUs so i was thinking to get 2x R9 270X. 4gb each. OR if u have something else to propose me i would be honored.

Have any settings, software, or hardware changed before the panic started? What version of OS X are you on? Have you double checked the bios settings? Have you tried booting into safe mode?

I was talking to you a couple weeks ago.

I'm still having an issue with my audio kext and it causing a total freeze and crash when I boot up. I'm stable by installing mavericks OVER my current OS, but not installing the audio kext.

I'm wondering if you can help me with a full install. I think I need to do a full reformat which is what you recommended. Do I need to follow the OP as it is written? What steps can I omit? Sorry, I just know it took me a bit of time to get things stable and don't want to go through it again.

Can I copy the .dsdt I have right now?

Hi Shilohh,

I was wondering if you'd spotted my previous posts regarding much higher video benchmark scores in windows than in OSX using your build? I did post a few pages back after a massive delay when you requested my ioreg output, which was attached to the last post I made.

Unfortunately, I picked a bad time to post I think as it was just after Yosemite was released and thread quickly expanded with posts relating to this.

I'd really like to get my card working to it's full potential so your help would be appreciated. If you need me to re-dump my ioreg again let me know and i'll do it instantly. I got a new job just after I first posted about this issue and it swallowed up all my time for the first couple of months.

P.S: Attached is my ioreg.txt in a zipfile just in case

as far as I know nothing has changed for settings, software and hardware. Nothing I would be aware of.
I'm running 10.9.4. I've checked the BIOS but everything seems to be fine. Tried the optimized defaults but that didn't help either. Safe mode results in the same kernel panic ......

As always Shilohh thanks for the great updates and build guide, I ran into some issue last night where my Multibeast built the wrong kext files, when I restarted it's getting hung up at the Mac logo with loading bar underneath.

Do you have any idea how I can get it to boot into the OS to load the right Multibeast kexts etc?

I don't have any personal experience with AMD cards on the Hackintosh side. I also stopped using final cut when they released FCP x. You should research and see what other AMD users are experiencing and compare OpenCL bench results with those of the nvidia cards to get an idea of what would perform best. Also make sure you look into any added difficulties that may arise from going AMD. I've seen users report all kinds of problems with the r9 2xx cards but that may not be the case anymore.

You'll need to troubleshoot it. It could be software or hardware.

You can save all the files from EFI/clover/acpi/patched, and EFI/clover/config.plist and reuse them to skip the steps in the guide where the files are created or modified. Also, don't use any of OS X's data migration tools.
