OC 0.9.4. Updated from Ventura 13.6. Had to use the full installer to update.

The differential update was not available, so I downloaded the full setup image from the App Store and updated it.

Success with the desktop - Dell Inspiron 3471, i3-9100. OC 0.9.5 and latest kexts. But the laptop is Kabylake, i5-7200 and is configured as MacBookPro14,1 . It will need a new identity to update.
Changed the laptop to a MacBookAir 8,1. Installed the full Sonoma download successfully. But must fix the Broadcom card wifi... I will try what has worked for others.

Nope. Wifi on Broadcom card is broken. Advice welcome! (edited)
Wifi system report reads: CoreWLAN 16.0(1657)
...

Bluetooth Controller reads: Address
Chipset BCM_20702B0
Discoverable Off

Maybe changing IDentity messed up USB will try remapping ports but advice welcome

Remapping did reveal that the Broadcom card listed as USB3 connector rather than internal. I tried to fix that (maybe I didn't do it right) but still wifi is off. Advice very welcome.

There seems to be an issue with the fix not working with Dropbox. I did the fix earlier and Dropbox just crashes when it tries to load. It seems like the amfi=0x80 string is what’s causing it. One user said he had a kext he used and stopped using the string and it worked but I can’t get it to work on my end. :banghead:

You need to use the AMFIPass.kext and remove that amfi=0x80 from the boot-args for Dropbox to work. See this post (towards the end). Also need to add -amfipassbeta to the boot-args.

Did a clean install of Sonoma on a new NvME SSD, then OCLP patched for Broadcom BCM4360 WiFi/BT and all Apple services are working as they should be, including unlocking screen with my Apple Watch LOL. I had been testing RC2 for the past few days to iron out the installation and patching issues so it was a breeze with the official Sonoma release.

Scroll down to Hackintosh notes.

But be warned, if you use Dropbox, it seems like this fix works for the Fenvi / Broadcom cards but will break your Dropbox in the process.

Add: AMFIPass.kext, -amfipassbeta (boot-arg)
Remove: amfi=0x80

This is a known problem since the latest version of Ventura. Apple has deprecated all add-on Broadcom wireless.

Two options are available right now:

1) Use OpenCore Legacy Patcher (latest beta version) which contains a Broadcom wireless patch.

2) Use Intel wireless and OpenIntelWireless kexts.

:)
