[Success] - Asus ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming + i9 10900K + OpenCore

Currently I only need wifi but airdrop need wifi to work right?
Yes.
In case you need wifi only, you can use itlwm along with HeliPort

In case you need other features, you need AirportItlwm along with IO80211Family.
To enable IO80211Family, you can do as following:
  • Enable Apple Secure Boot (Please read OpenCore's official manual)
Or
  • Force IO80211Family to load. (Read the Kernel - Force section in OpenCore's manual for more info)
You can found the detailed install AirportItlwm here https://github.com/daliansky/XiaoMi...e-Native-Intel-Wireless-Card#use-airportitlwm

Note: airdrop, handoff supported under AirportItlwm

It works now! Thanks for the insight man ..

Now the only problem is bluetooth. Still not getting luck with this.

Clover? Hmm, this guild for OC, but we can go through this. Could you show me the peripherals and USB in hackintool?

Could you please attach the image here directly in the post instead of in attachments?

Oh sorry, I just use those Clover Configurator for mounting EFI.

I just realise that the bluetooth are working fine when testing on another device. Previously I tested it using my MX Master 3 and it won't connect. Perhaps its mouse connection issue not the kext?

Also the sleep, I cannot wake up with keyboard or mouse. I need to press power button every time its going sleep. (Using 0.6.3 EFI shared by scope666)

Maybe, I don't know. I don't have that mouse :(

It's related to GPRW patch in ACPI (I think you are using EFI folder from @scope666). try to disable this SSDT and DSDT patch.

Another thing, I see that you have UsbInjectAll kext, last time whey using this kext with all ports enable, I can't wake up from sleep. You better apply patch USB port to limit 15 ports

Let us know how it goes, I was under the impression it wouldn't stay asleep without that patch, but if you see otherwise, please let me know.

I don't have that patch, I meant GPRW. I only have a keyboard, mouse, and 1 device plugged into USB hub 2.0 (black port) and doesn't use this patch. Sleep works well for me.

Yeah, I remember us discussing this. There's something different about my rig (iGPU vs. dGPU maybe) that makes mine need that patch to stay down.

Yeah, it's been mentioned in the thread in a few places, but it's grown to be quite large so it would be easy to miss. Maybe I'll add something to the first post about it. EDIT: Done.

I feel proud that others have loosely followed my build. I historically had always bought the "Hero" class of boards, but when I saw that it didn't have both iGPU outputs, I looked for the next best board, and landed on this one. Funny how Asus deciding that extra video port wasn't important probably cost them a lot of revenue via our crowd.
Well, as I said, I'm new to it, but I'd be amazed when Asus and Gigabyte would complain about revenues from the hackintosh crowd :)

Of course I already read al the posts about your Nvidia card, but even then I did not immediately grasp the consequences for me. With my completely different GPU. But I learned. And now gratefully follow your progression tackling more USB ports, sleep-and-wake and off course Big Sur.

I see I will try to read it first and try USB Patch.

Anyway what bluetooth kext you are using right now? My wifi is working and bluetooth "seems" working but when I try to connect my bluetooth device such as mouse and trying airdrop its not working.
