[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

So, if I'm running an iMP profile (no iGPU, dGPU only) what should I put in the Config<DeviceProperties<PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)<AAPL,ig-platform-id and <framebuffer-patch-enable ?? – or should I delete the entire "PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)" child?

Under those specific circumstances we should remove that entire section.

I thought about doing it on mine, running both of them in compute mode. IDK whether they'll only run at x8 instead of one at x16 (slot 1 on my Z390). I could find out more, but I can't move forward until my id-platform question is answered.
When PCIe cards are installed in both slots 1 and 2, they both operate at x8. If a third card is installed in the bottom long slot, then we get x8, x4, x4 unless we set the PCIe switch in BIOS to “PCH Side”. In that case we get x8, x8, x4.

After update from Opencore 0.6.0 to Opencore 0.6.1, the sound output via the external 4K LG monitor, which is connected via Displayport, is missing. I've had that before.
The sound output is also not grayed out in the sound settings in the menu bar.
But if I unplug the Displayport cable and plug it in again, the sound output will appear until the next restart.
Is there a solution for this?
I fixed this by changing to alcid=16 instead of 11 in the boot-args

Hi Casey, before updating to OC 0.6.1 my Aquantia 10gbe ethernet port (LAN1) was working however since the update to OC 0.6.1, my Aquantia port is not longer working. Any ideas what might have caused this. I have now switched to the second onboard ethernet port Intel GbE (LAN2)

Is there an easy way to hide the drives provided by default in the boot menu (using OpenCanopy) of Opencore (similar the option to the auxiliary tools)? I have successfully created custom entries for my two operating systems (MacOS Catalina and Windows 10) in config.plist under Misc(ellaneous)->Entries. Now I would like to only use my entries.

Please compare the OpenCore config.plist files between OC 0.6.0 and 0.6.1 using OpenCore Configurator. There might be a kernel extension and/or kernel patch for Aquantia in 0.6.0 that needs to be migrated to 0.6.1.

I mean the model called dual, not two gpus. Question was to understand if there are compatibility issues. I'm still on high sierra due to my gtx1060

It is necessary once again to copy the following values into one of the new config files:
  • Serial Number
  • Board Serial Number
  • System UUID
Im planning to develop a web app to copy and past theme automatically from old.plist to new.plist

Nothing changed on Catalina at least for Sonnet Solo SFP+ ( AQC107 )
If on BigSur :

patch : com.apple.driver.AppleEthernetAquantiaAqtion
find : 6275696C 742D696E
replace : 62626262 62626262
MinKernel : 20.0.0
MaxKernel : 21.0.0

On the latest BigSur kernel version is 20.1.0
