[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Thank you for proof-reading the Mini-Guide. Changes have been made except for Method 4. Please see if you get the same errors on the attached dsl and aml files. MaciASL is in /Applications folder.
I wasn't able to reproduce those errors but I did make a change that might work.
If an error occurs again, please state which shell you are using.
$SHELL --version

I'm usually using zsh (5.8, which I install from homebrew) and did get some errors with loadioreg on a previous version of your script, but switching to the native bash first solved it.

The new version eliminates the multiple "command not found" messages, but reports Buffer size is too small. This is on Catalina 10.15.5 (build 19F101) with Terminal newly launched. Please see:
Bash:
casey@iMac ~ % $SHELL --version
zsh 5.7.1 (x86_64-apple-darwin19.0)

casey@iMac ~ % loadamlfile ~/Downloads/SSDT-Z390-DESIGNARE-TB3HP-V4.aml
Buffer size is too small

casey@iMac ~ % loaddslfile ~/Downloads/SSDT-Z390-DESIGNARE-TB3HP-V4.dsl

Yesterday I accidentally upgraded from 10.15.3 to 10.15.5 directly. It was ugly and scary, but the process was successful

I don't know how it actually happened. I must have accidentally clicked on update notification during the week, so as soon as I rebooted, it started updating (I don't reboot that often).

Interestingly enough, what led me to reboot was updating Clover EFI in preparation for the 10.15.3 -> 10.15.4 that I would do next. I guess having it updated during the OS updated played a role? Not sure.

EDIT: By the way, I use iGPU

Hi

Below are the screen shots as requested. The SmallTree Kext isn't in Clover and my RP02 looks differently.
Am I right in thinking the kext hasn't installed?
Thanks again for all the help, really appreciate it
IOReg screenshot shows that the Ethernet card is disabled. Please check this BIOS setting:
  • Settings --> IO Ports --> PCH LAN Controller

Lately, I was thinking to have USB 2.0 working behind the two thunderbolt ports on the Z390 Designare.
Is it possible to replace SS01/HS01 for HS08 and HS13? How do I do that?

My case does not have front USB-C, so having those enabled it kind of a waste.

I was wondering if anyone has Corsair RGB vengeance pro RAM installed? I have mine working just fine except the RGB part. They are stuck on the default vomit rainbow. can someone with the same memory tell me how you are controlling the RGB. The memory is not recognized in icue on my win10 virtual machine.

Done, but that URL is in the HTML file. Please provide a public URL when you’re ready.
