[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Guys, I am sorry to ask this question, but search did give me too many results. I am still running 10.15.2. Is the upgrade to 10.15.5 a flawless task via "Software Update" or is there anything I should prepare? My system is running totally fine, so I am not really interested in making things complicated ...

Thank you

Please see Quick Reference spoiler at the top of Post #1. Upgrading from 10.15.2 to 10.15.5 means you'll encounter the 10.15.4 "barrier" so it's good to follow the steps listed in the first red box. This update is especially troublesome, so a full bootable backup should be made in advance.

If you feel that the steps to update are too complicated, it's okay to postpone the update. Native NVRAM needs to be enabled, which means MSR 0xE2 has to be unlocked. And a new CLOVER folder should be created. All of the steps are provided.

Lately, I was thinking to have USB 2.0 working behind the two thunderbolt ports on the Z390 Designare.
Is it possible to replace SS01/HS01 for HS08 and HS13? How do I do that?

My case does not have front USB-C, so having those enabled it kind of a waste.
There is one already available at the bottom of Post 1. Simply click here. Then try using the file highlighted, but move the existing SSDT-UIAC-DESIGNARE-Z390-V7.aml to CLOVER/misc folder.

but that URL is in the HTML file.
yes Sir but if we put that URL here all google will see it directly

Please provide a public URL when you’re ready.
For the moment im not sure that ill take a domain exclusively for HackinDROM.

Do you have any information about the new GC Titan Ridge rev 2.0 DROM? If yes then I can add it to HackinDROM too.

Or if I missed some devices please tell me then ill add them too

DROM for the new GC-Titan Ridge V2 is as follows (might be the same as V1; I haven't compared them):
Code:
                                "ThunderboltDROM",
                                Buffer (0x76)
                                {

rev 1.0 has
"ThunderboltDROM",
Buffer (0x7B)

rev 2.0 is 0x76 (like the on board Titan Ridge)

And there's a difference at line n3

The one on left is not the original DROM from GC-TR V1 because I believe we modified those 9 bytes after the CRC32_C checksum. That is okay.

The “body” of the two DROMs is identical.

What was the reason to modify them please ?
At the time we didn't know the meaning of those 9 bytes so we copied them from real Mac DROMs.
So its useless to add this version to HackinDROM.
Yes it's pointless, but we should change "GC-Titan Ridge" to something like "GC-Titan Ridge V1 and V2".

Do you actually use php in this ? If it's only html it can be hosted pretty much anywhere, like github pages.
