[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Yeah, I don't think we should need to though, with Macbook users experiencing the same thing, and other people with the same build as us (same mapping too), suggests maybe it's some of the peripherals we're using are drawing a certain amount of power that is causing it to crash. Other peoples might draw a different amount, so there's no problem. Might not be the cause at all, but maybe in trying to squeeze a little more juice out of the battery, Apple have broken compatibility. If these adaptors work, which isn't totally proven yet, get the impression a software fix won't be far off.
Talking about power I have the Softube Console 1 & Fader - both just eat power and are completely erratic in certain USB setups eg. a USB2 powered Hub coupled with other peripherals is a no go. They need their own port to behave properly.

Yep, it would make sense wouldn't it. When I had my Prism Titan which is USB2 going into the USB 3, which is also feeding the connection of my modular through it's adat, so lot of power going on, that's when I was getting freezes every 10 mins. Soon as I put that and the iLok into the top two ports it stopped freezing. Interestingly other power hungry things, Komplete Kontrol etc don't seem to be causing any problem. Maybe their grounds are bridged, or they just draw the right amount of power? Imagine by tomorrow someone will say that they're getting freezes even with these adaptors though so I'll have to crawl back into my hole.

I've got everything going straight into the motherboard, haven't got the card yet. If there's no software fix soon it seems as though the card is the way to go though, to get the stability.

Hi

Below are the screen shots as requested. The SmallTree Kext isn't in Clover and my RP02 looks differently.
Am I right in thinking the kext hasn't installed?
Thanks again for all the help, really appreciate it

The /L/E folder looks fine. Some questions/requests:
  • Please post a screenshot of CLOVER/kexts/Other
  • And a screenshot of Clover Configurator --> System Parameters page
  • Run IORegistryExplorer and scroll the device tree on left side until you see RP02 (do not use the 'search' bar)
    • Do you see something like this?
    • If not, please post a screenshot.

Hopefully..... So far so good. Seem like its been working well for @jleahy2. Lets see if we can get a few collective weeks of no freezes and then it would seem there i's viable fix/workaround.

@CaseySJ Hi mate, thank you for your patience again. Here is my final solution for other users who also have a Corsair Commander Pro.

1. Please stay with bootloader Clover 5.0 v5118, otherwise, the Bluetooth may stop working occasionally.
2. For those who want to fresh install Catalina 10.15.5, you must disconnect your Commander Pro temporally.
3. Follow this link to fix UPS problems. All credits go to @CaseySJ and @jb007

As usual, every couple of weeks or so, I lost USB connections, after rebooting gets fixed, fortunately my main audio interface it's FW and solid as a rock in Mojave , it's good to know that the inatek card works, sooner or later probably I'll take it away from the vintage MacPro where it lives to give it a spin
I got 13 days between lockups. I lost Magic Mouse/Keyboard and couldn't login. I did get back into the hackinstosh via Chrome Remote Desktop and the USB 2.0 and Bluetooth are just missing (I'll try and do a better documenting next time). They came back after a reboot.
