I believe it's like that by default on every update.
I believe cholonman just posted another kext on the insanely thread today which is build with 10.13SDK, i assume that one should work now (High Sierra+)
For clarification: yes this was the issue. Once I used the newly uploaded kext compiled with the older SDK, it is now working on this machine on Mojave! Good catch @Sniki

For anyone with a T440s who did not replace the Wifi and Bluetooth card there are now ways to make the built-in AC 7260 work.

AC 7260 Bluetooth

With https://github.com/zxystd/IntelBluetoothFirmware I was able to make Bluetooth on AC 7260 work, I tried it with a Bluetooth keyboard and it works fine.

Just make sure you do not have any of the Bluetooth fix kexts loaded (AirportBrcmFixup.kext, BT4LEContinuityFixup.kext, BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext, BrcmPatchRAM2.kext)

AC 7260 Wifi

With kext from https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-working-intel-wifi-drivers-for-7265ac-on-catalina.292207/ (direct download) I was able to make the Wifi work.

The only inconvenience is that you need to load it with BSSID and Password filled, there is a script to help with that.

The speed and ping is not exactly stable, but it is usable. Although I still prefer the TPLink Archer T2U Plus I bought for the T440s to get Wifi.

In all honesty, I am not sure (this is my only 2nd Hackintosh [1st was over 4 years ago]). I downloaded the Lenovo Thinkpad T440S Project from Sniki's Github -- I don't know if that helps.

Thank you for your help with the "Modifier Keys" I was able to remap the Command key to the Windows Key and Option to the Alt Key.
Do you mind sharing your EFI so I can compare it to mine and perhaps try to figure out where the problem lies?

Woah - this is really cool! It's obviously still better to go with a native card, but at least it's something!

@Sniki I don't want to rush things too much and I know all of this is for free, but is there a possibility for you to share the OC files soon? I'm not sure if it's placebo or not, but I feel that this laptop performs better with OC than with Clover so that's why I'd like to try it as soon as it is available.

No problem, i just couldn't find the time to do so, i have been busy with other real life things.
Also there was a bit of purpose on the delay.
0.5.8 incorporates a lot of good fixes and stuff,
0.5.7 has been a rushed release due to 10.15.4

Also the entire set of kexts have received substantial upgrades therefore i will prepare the config.plist and SSDTs, once the release goes live i will publish the EFI.

- VoodooPS2 has received a great amount of fixes and more stable 4 finger gestures i believe.
- Sinetek Card Reader kext now works great as well thanks to Colonman for taking the project.
So it works even after wake from sleep and is a lot more stable.

Yes it's true, with OC system is a lot more stable.
Acidanthera does monthly releases so 5 may should be the max time when they release it.
Since 0.5.8 is a bugfix one, i assume we may see the release till max 3rd May.

Yes, im downloading latest macOS Catalina and then building a USB Installer for my T440S.
Will configure the latest OpenCore EFI now and then upload it later tonight after i do all the testing has been done.

OpenCore EFI ready and USB Installer ready, now i am rebooting my T440S and will check how it works and if any regressions done from my side.

As soon as i reach desktop and test all things working correctly, i will upload it.
You guys can upgrade to macOS Catalina like a boss.

All you will have to do once i upload the EFI is go to EFI/OC/Config.plist > PlatformInfo > Generic:
Add your MLB
Add your Serial Number
Add your UUID
Add your ROM

and reboot into installer or simply replace your current EFI with the OC one and you can use your current setup with all the improvements.
