The game’s afoot!
MacOS 10.15.0 (Tahoe?)
MacPro 2019?
6K Thunderbolt Display?
- Are you running 10.14.5?
- Do you have any other operating systems installed? For example, if Windows is installed, you could see if that boots up fine with USB devices connected.
- Also double-check all of your BIOS settings and ensure that BIOS vF6 is still installed.
- I can audit your CLOVER configuration. For this you may remove serial numbers from SMBIOS section of config.plist and compress/upload the CLOVER folder on your Mojave SSD (EFI partition). Also upload a screenshot of your /Library/Extensions folder.
I’ll audit your configuration soon, but for slow network speed after wake, please look here:Thanks mate,
- I am running 10.4.4
- no other OS are installed
- I have doubled checked BIOS settings and vF6 is definetly installed
- Please see screenshot and config.plist attached
Casey, while auditing, do you mind checking please to see if I am missing something that could explain:
- Cant log into iMessage or Facetime, I am logged into icloud though.
- Download speeds extermely slow after waking from sleep
Thanks again, g.

Some of my reasons for looking forward to WWDC 2019:HA! I'm hopeful for a new Mac Pro announcement and expecting disappointment regardless. The original point of building this system was to hold me over for a couple years until whatever this new Mac Pro ends up being starts showing up decently priced on the used market. However, after working on this system for a bit now, helping a couple other friends build up this same machine, and watching the price for their builds continue to fall (around $1600 with a 9900k and RX 580 at one point), I don't know what you could possibly stand to gain with a new Mac Pro besides easy software updates... I'll be watching the keynote nonetheless

I use a Kill-a-Watt device to monitoring wattage under both idle and high-load conditions. I don't keep this connected at all times, but only when needed. Will do! Thanks so much for your guide and continued support in this topic. Any idea on how I'd notice the need for a 750w psu? Thus far, I've been using the gpu mostly for w10 gaming on a spare sata ssd, and macos solely for logic pro x/day-to-day usage (i.e., email, documents through a w10 parallels machine, etc).
I omit darkwake altogether. The computer will still wake from sleep with one key, but the monitor will remain asleep until a second keystroke. I have a Logitech mouse as well, but I don't think mouse movements wake up the machine. I'm not aware of a strict two-key-to-wake setting -- I think that would require custom code.Just one more question, prior to getting started on all this: do you know of any (darkwake?) setting that doesn't wake the hackintosh from sleep after every key-touch/mouse-movement? Moving my wireless (logitech) keyboards/mice around whilst vacuuming made my a-sleep hackontish wake up. But I'd prefer a hard-power-button push (or perhaps two quick key presses?) to be the only way of waking up?
Are you using a custom USB SSDT on your current build? If you can provide the make/model of your MIDI keyboard, perhaps someone with a similar device can respond or provide suggestions...Also, my external midi keyboard has a powersaving auto-off function, meaning that after, let's say, 4 hours of inactivity, it shuts itself off, but my current build recognises this as a usb interaction, hence it wakes from sleep as soon as the keyboard turns itself off. If you have any advice, I'd love to hear.

Regenerate Serial Number and SMUUID by pressing several times "Generate New". (even 10 times).
Can you please compress and upload your CLOVER folder from the EFI partition of your Mojave SSD? You can do this as follows:
- Login to Mojave.
- Run Clover Configurator.
- Select "Mount EFI" on the left side panel.
- Then on the bottom right of the Clover Configurator window, select "Mount Partition" -- but make sure it's for your Mojave SSD.
- In Finder, open the newly mounted EFI disk icon.
- Inside you will find a folder also called EFI.
- Inside that you will find the CLOVER folder.
- Compress and upload that CLOVER folder.
