[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Thank you for your confirmation.

I am using iMac pro1,1SMBIOS now, but I will try macmini8,1 like yours. Are you using headless mode as well? But I see your PCI graphic profile screen showing both graphic cards (That means Bios GFX primary?)

I saw your config and it has only Device>property part related to UHD630. + Lilu, WEG.

So, GFX primary in Bios and FB patch in Config's Device>property + WEG and Lilu. Am I right?
Yes I'm using the UHD630 in headless mode with the RX580 doing all the video output. The PCI profile screen shows both graphics/display devices, but when I plug HDMI cable into the motherboard, there's no video. Compute units on the UHD630 are active, which is confirmed by the PCI screenshot.

In BIOS, my "Initial Display Device" is PCIe-Slot-1 and iGPU is set to "enabled". I've removed everything from the config.plist --> devices --> Properties page and simply enabled "InjectIntel", set the IntelGFX field to 0x3E9B8086, and ig-platform-id to 3E9B0007. Lilu and WhateverGreen are both installed (latest versions).

I just tested a number of .mov files where "Kind" is "QT movie" and filename ends in ".mov". All of them played immediately:
  • In Quick Look by pressing spacebar on the filename.
  • In QuickTime player.
Fixed the Quicktime thing.... I had no audio configured and quicktime was throwing up a (-101) error. Still glitching FCPX though. I'm going to double check BIOS settings

This is so weird. My FCPX thing has to be something simple. I just ran Geekbench on my CPU and both the UHD630 and RX580 (and got expected results!)

The only thing in my BIOS wrong was vt d setting (It was enabled, which I changed.) I'll get this!

Kernel Panic at the end of the Method 1 Post Install. I followed everything as a book. (Ethernet wasn't working though.) I did a backup. Or can I solve it in some other way?

*edit I Can boot in Safe Mode.

Rebuilt with kext utility, system boots again,
Trim is working, processor is still unknown,
ethernet interface shows up in system profiler but it does not work. (Fresh Installed Again, it works)

Thunderbolt-nope (I need that for the UAD) but all the usb ports are good, maybe the kexts are not loading?

Gpu temp is quite high (86c idle) that's a bit concerning too. I think the first step would be fix the internet connection.

Thank you for kind detail instruction I will try your way again. BTW I am using Titan Ridge and when I am using the OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi several times ok to boot but later it suddenly goes to memory error again. So my Alternative way is using OsxAptioFix2Drv.efi+Test2.efi (It is another method in the original website) and working but still not very stable. It might be a problem with my Thunderbolt 5k display. Do you have no error anymore related with aptio memory?

Im not a Netflix subscriber so maybe someone else here can check Netflix playback in Safari...

With Safari I get an error message (S7363-1260-FFFFD089). With Chrome I don't have an issue.

The Thunderbolt section of System Information will always say No Drivers Loaded so you can ignore that. Instead, click the PCI section and have a look...

Processor will remain unknown, but it’s just cosmetic. I plan to “fix” that soon and will update the guide.

For Vega GPUs have a look at the thread below, particularly the section “Graphics Card”:

On the Designare Z390, all of my memory errors are resolved with OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000. The system has been rock solid. Turns on every time and runs for the entire day (such as nearly all day yesterday). And the performance / responsiveness always brings a smile! That PCIe M.2 SSD makes a world of difference.

Regarding FaceTime and EmuVariableUEFI-64:
In my case I need to have EmuVariableUEFI-64 permanently installed, because otherwise I get an error message as soon as I logout of FaceTime and try to login again.

Is there any need to install the kexts at /L/E? So far I've placed everything in the respective Clover directories within the EFI partition.

I had to do a lot of clean installs over and over, troubleshooting, kernel panics here and there but at the end...
[Success] The baby is born, i9-9900k & Vega64!! Thanks for this awesome thread, I couldn't do it without your help and tonymacx86! I'm so happy xD

Will check the Vega Link that you posted above, thanks again!
