I just played the trailer for Mission Impossible Fallout in iTunes -- no problems at all. I have both UHD630 and RX580 enabled. HEVC and H.264 are fully enabled with UHD630.

I'm not a Netflix subscriber so maybe someone else here can check Netflix playback in Safari...

I am using iMac pro1,1SMBIOS now, but I will try macmini8,1 like yours. Are you using headless mode as well? But I see your PCI graphic profile screen showing both graphic cards (That means Bios GFX primary?)

I saw your config and it has only Device>property part related to UHD630. + Lilu, WEG.

So, GFX primary in Bios and FB patch in Config's Device>property + WEG and Lilu. Am I right?

Here's the IORegistryExplorer view of HS (high speed) and SS (super speed) ports on my system. They do operate at full speed.

I will check this out. edit: I have the exact IORegistry. I will double check the speed of the ports. Also still researching the FCPX thing. I did notice that preview is lightning fast, which I assume is based on the iGPU form the threads I have read.

Has anyone used this Designare with a CPU air cooler? Doesn't look like the Noctua dh-15 fits, how about the Dark Rock Pro 4?

I used this cooler for my build. I plan on overclocking but will do that when i get everything finalized, stable and FCPX up and running.

Hi Casey, I could get past the installation and post, (Method1) the system is stable thanks, I was just forced to do a reinstall 7-8 times without changing anything at the end worked without modyfing files. The problem is, nothing works not even ethernet, also in the system profiler nothing is displayed, when you got time could you help me do a little troubleshoot? should I copy the efi folder from the usb stick to the mac?

I am making some significant updates to the build guide today. You can see some of the changes already. Last few changes are coming in about an hour or so. The modified guide should address nearly every issue that people have reported over the past 2 weeks (while I was on vacation).

One of the problems I found today is that you must set "Inject Kexts" to "YES" in Clover Configurator. Please see attached image. Please try that on the EFI partition of your internal Mojave disk and reboot...

Casey, an observation and one question.

Looking back at my successful installation, a couple times during the process I had to reboot from the USB and then select the SSD to complete the install. I think that is related to the SSD not being "bootable" yet. Reading between the lines on a couple other peoples posts they were encountering the same.

Now the question (relating to my FCPX issue): Can you play .mov files with Quicktime? I currently can not. Photoshop loads and is quite speedy.

The updated Build Guide has been posted. It discusses EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY exceptions during stage 1 and 2 installation that have affected so many people (which are both perfectly normal and not real errors) and includes a temporary installation of EmuVariableUefi-64 (without RC scripts) for activating Messages, FaceTime, Handoff, Continuity. EmuVariableUefi-64 can be deleted once activation is complete. Full instructions are posted.

Some other changes:

• Installation Overview section has been expanded.
• UniBeast step-by-step instructions have been added.
• OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000 is now being used from the very beginning.
• METHOD 2 (black box method) has been deleted.

I just tested a number of .mov files where "Kind" is "QT movie" and filename ends in ".mov". All of them played immediately:

• In Quick Look by pressing spacebar on the filename.
• In QuickTime player.
