In other releases i was using ktext utility to inject the new controllers( droping them in) , but now with the new realease of stevezhengshiq, all the drivers (ktext) are inside the boot folder, and i was having a problem with the duplicated ktext.

If you don't have any boodo ktext on \System\Library\Extentions folder my solution its not going to work for you sorry...

Try with some different kexts then. Backup you voodoo kexts in you EFI folder, replace them with others and reboot.
I personally use this https://www.tonymacx86.com/attachments/touchpad_kexts-zip.330683/ with the tap to click option on.
There's the palm problem like every other kexts for out touchpad, but they seems pretty good for me.

Yesterday, the audio stopped working after a sleep. Now at the reboot it continues to loop. I tried to use the installation USB key but the problem is not solved. Can you help me?

Hello everyone. I just wanted to thank you all, because this installation was very easy and everything worked as expected (including audio fix) thanks to this guide!

I wanted to ask if you can safely update to 10.3.5. I didn't understand if the update works or not  thank you

I confirm.
Update to 10.13.5 passes without problems.
After installing the update, you need to run kext utility and then reboot

Sounds great, thank you! So do I just need to run that piece of software or maybe first copying again the kexts from Daliansky's folder to my EFI folder? Sorry for my noob question, but this is my first time dealing with a hackintosh afer years (I used to have a Tiger hackintosh lol)

I've tried https://github.com/stevezhengshiqi/XiaoMi-Pro HighDPI support but the fonts look a little bit blurry. Also after screen lock the fonts get no smoothing at all. Do you know how to fix those issues?
If you are in macOS10.13.4 or higher, you should try 1440x810 HiDPI instead of 1600x900. And also make sure both "hidpi.sh" and "install.command" are installed.

Can you please walk us through how to get "hidpi.sh" and "install.command" installed?
This would be great. Thanks.

  1. Read "README".
  2. Make sure you download the all folder "HIDPI for Mi Pro".
  3. Install according the instruction found in README file.

The thing is that I'm already using 1440x810. But the text isn't as good as on Retina display on MacBook Pro. The text looks a little bit blurry.
And also after screen turn off/turn on the text isn't smoothy at all and looks ugly. Only restart fixes it.
However, I found out that 1280x720 works pretty good and the quality is almost as good as on Retina display.
Do you know any other good resolutions and a way to fix text issues after screen turned off?

Also it's not obvious what kind of monitor should I use in hidpi.sh (MacBook, LG?).
