Haven't experienced any impact on games so far, but you can always revert settings back if something isn't going as it should be.
 
Hi UAR, Have Razer blade 14 with 970m... Need help getting the HDMI work. I can only with SSDT-DiscreteSpoof patch.

I think your HDMI-port is tied to the NVIDIA card to. This SSDT disables the card. Remove it and follow my instructions in the guide to install and configure the card...

I did that but it results into a panic and the restarts after igpu is loaded.....

RehabMan any insight on this....?

Inside your EFI folder there is no apfs.efi?
 
A bit confused here. The guide says trackpad is not working anymore but Im pretty sure the old VoodooI2C kext still works just without the gestures.
