[In progress] SSDT for Thunderbolt 3 Hotplug

You do not need the bootlog, the address is on IOReg on "pcidebug". In my case it's 06:00.00 (look in my screenshot)

What is this supposed to do exactly? I tried this with and without various SSDTs and it seemed to make no difference to usability

I actually got hotplug to work without the arbitrary inputs added. It was an ssdt from the thread on the insanely mac thread!

But sad thing is it doesn’t work after sleep at all. Any thoughts why?

Similar results as me: Sleep breaks Thunderbolt. Sleep does not break USB 3.1 however for me.

Would you mind sharing the exact SSDT and config.plist you're using? Might help me or others on this thread!

Sure! I though my profile was visible where I have that info!

In the other threads there are some evolutions of this SSDT in testing, but this at least gives me hotplug but no sleep!

For those wondering about Thunderbolt hot swap at least on the Gigabyte side. Yesterday. out of desperation, I pulled out my GC Alpine Ridge USB cable.
Not only did this fix the driver on Mac (previously activated on Windows) but it also seems to have become hot-swappable. - I use a TH3- Firewire adapter through TH2 and no SSDT. Still testing.
Maybe something to further investigate.

So your card works without the THB_C Header cable connected to the motherboard?
This is interesting
