I believe my webcam has one in it, but I thought my speakers acted as a microphone?

If you're referring from the Audio Menu, all selections yield the same result of video/audio not even playing. Tried from many places that can't be mentioned because it marks my message as "spam"

There are 5 options

Digital Out
Internal Speakers
Line Out
Line Out
(Dell Monitor model)

None produce audio. First Line Out selection allows for videos to play stuttery but still no audio.

Hello guys i have been able to successfully install my build.
but i have no sound from my Realteck ACL 887.

Motherboard :AsusTUF Z270 MARK 2
Audio: Realtek® ALC887 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC

I runned Clover ALC Script and i have successfully patched my audio codec.
but i dont have sound when i choose internal speakers form system preference.
due to that i cant play any video and audio file.

i really want to be able to use my Onboard Audio

There are 5 options

Only one option is relevant; the other 4 options will never make a sound.

First Line Out selection allows for videos to play stuttery

Not working; that selection is for the motherboard orange port.

See Quick Fix: 200 Series/Kaby Lake Audio, install one option.
Restart
Verify Internal Speakers selected, speakers connected to green motherboard port, play music on iTunes.

i tried to install mac os high sierra in my desktop. but i cant install it. when i make the bootable flash drive then install the mac os sierra my graphics show only 7mb. and wifi usb card dosent work please anyone help me to edit config plist for my pc configuration.
here is my desktop pc configuration : Motherboard - Asus H81m-C
Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHZ
Memory : 8 GB
Graphics Chipset : AMD Radeon (TM) R9 270x
Usb wifi lan card : 802.11n USB Wireless Lan Card

Okay -- I will test on later Os's in the same box.

The only solution that has worked in this machine has been VoodooHDA which causes the occasional KP so it is not a long term solution but looking at the voodoo dump there seems to be some interesting data. Are there times when there are multiple mixers in an audio path? What if, according to the codec dump there are 'stereo amp out stereo amp in' on every node?

Again, I will make a clone of a Sierra disk I have and run the script [yours] and show you the output. When I did this before I got the same problem I have with my patch in 10.6.8 -- there are devices but no sound. All the ports work in Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, Windows and with VoodooHDA in OSX so there is not a hardware problem.
