My system went screwy with sleep and shut down. It turned out to be a corrupted BIOS - I noticed that occasionally it was fine. Then I realised that was when it was booting from the backup BIOS not the main BIOS.

I copied the backup BIOS over the main BIOS and it was problem solved.

Now I know you guys have UEFI not BIOS but it's worth checking.

I think holding CTRL F10 switches you to the backup BIOS well it does on older boards?

I do have a CMOS reset jumper on my board, Ill give that a try. Thanks!

Any Luck? Eagerly trying to solve this issue :(

not yet, will try tomorrow. But

Most likely the only fix is gonna be extracting our DSDT raw and manually patching it ourselves because the pre patched ones are too old for the current OS. I just don't know how to write intel assembly code, I'll try to read up on it and DSDT patching.

Or hot patch via clover? hmm idk

Yeah i spent like 4 hours last night trying to research it w/out mych luck. I was able to extract but not much further than that.. i did get the ststem to sleep and wake prioerly by disabling the thunderbolt on my system and patching w toledas audio patch, but i am still having small issues w usb3, but much more workable than it was :( ive neen building hackintoshes for years this new update has deff been more challenging than years gone by,,, feel kinda stupid honestly, i shoyld understand this better by now

Just a heads up I got my sleep and wake working by disabling my thunderbolt ? I don't need it so not a big deal, but system is perfect w/out it ?
