[Update] Sierra on the Skylake H170N-WIFI

For El Capitan wifi uses FakePCIID ktext and this is not working anymore with MacOS Sierra 10.12.1 so you need to try something else (exactly what I am doing right now)

Today, It may be easier to install El Capitan (follow the guide everything is working) then carbon copy cloner and then try tu upgrade.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. At this point, that's honestly just what I'm going to do. I really would like Sierra, since it adds sooooo much, but macOS is going to be my side OS anyway. I don't need to be on the cutting edge with that. As long as 4K display and Airplay work, that's all I care about honestly. iMessage and App Store seem to work fine right now, so that's an even bigger plus.

In the instructions Readme with the SSDT it says to rename to ssdt-4 but art rp06 may not work for you. You need to run IOREG and search RPT in the search bar. Then screenshot me what u see there.

Also, I will open your config.plist and see, the lines may not be correct.

I'm actually rereading through the list of what does and doesn't work.

I'm confused on the 4K monitor section. It says in one section it works, and then in another it doesn't?? Also, is Audio through HDMI still not working??

Ask on El Capitan forum. I can't answer you because I am not using 4K monitor or HDMI audio.
