[Update] Sierra on the Skylake H170N-WIFI

I have the Streacom F1CWS Evo. I wanted a Mac Mini look. I love the case and it's compact, but doesn't offer much in terms of upgradeability. I do like the BitFenix Phenom, but I was also thinking about waiting until Q2 of 2017 to buy the Cryorig Ola.

before i build my hackintosh i was thinking to get a case like the mac mini but later i found out the issues with the HD530 that is why i get the Phenom case.

Thanks, toleda's patch worked!
i have same build like you with GTX 950 , i want to update to sierra, can you tell me briefly how you enabled audio through HDMI with you , did you add kext while updating like the guide ( in clover/kexts/other folder) or what exactly ?
Regards

I dont know why Im just now seeing this Thread! sweet!!
new Multibeast is out! I had the wifi issue so glad to see theres a fix!
I tried direct upgrading to sierra and after it restarted I got stuck on the initial loading screen, after a while I got the pinwheel in the corner but thats it. what might be causing that?

I'm using the AppleALC kext instead of RealtekALC and my audio is working perfectly. So I'd suggest replacing RealtekALC.kext with AppleALC.kext. I used a guide HERE and downloaded the OS X 10.11.6 version of AppleHDA.kext and left <string>1</string> within the Audio Injection section of config.plist as is.

Directions from that guide worked great for me. Was able to skip the restoration of AppleHDA.kext since I hadn't patched it at all yet. Audio is up and running, I can finally take off my headphones. Thanks! :)

KNOWN ISSUES WITHOUT FIXES

- Graphical artifacts on the menu bar and sleep problems with HD530 integrated graphics

I believe I have an additional HD530 Dual Monitor Graphics Issue for which I can find no fix.

I had El Capitan working pretty good with ammulder's guide - El Capitan on the Skylake H170N-WIFI. I used the AGDPfix.app to patch AppleGraphicsControl.kext which allowed me to use dual monitors with HD530 graphics (i.e., only after booting could plug in the second monitor).

Then I used Clover to update to Sierra and HD530. Got the audio fixed and the wifi fixed with suggestions from the first post here.

I have the expected graphical artifacts on the menu bar and sleep problems with HD530 integrated graphics, but in addition, I have a problem with dual monitors, so I am looking for some suggestions in that regard. After booting, when I plug in the second monitor, it reports no signal and the first monitor goes black. I have to reboot after that.

A couple of interesting notes:

1. System Information shows dual monitors in uses - two VA2212 Series 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz monitors, even though only one is attached.

2. When I log on to my Hackintosh with 'Share Screen' from my MacBook Pro, I can see, configure and use both displays on the shared screen (although they are very small).

I learned to live with the HD530 sleep problems, I believe I can live with the graphical artifacts on the menu bar, but I would like to use dual monitors. Any suggestions out there?

Thanks,

Anyone notice power nap becoming a feature now after 14,2 and sierra?

I have done a clean install using Unibeast and Mulibeats.
Now waiting for instructions to get Audio, Bluetooth, WI-FI and wake from sleep working.

all is working, except apple watch unlock isn't. is there a different ktext needed for a different network driver?
actually, sleep doesn't work. well, if I manually sleep it it works, but if I leave the machine it won't sleep by itself. ?

Hey there. I got this fixed by downgrading the Clover Bootloader, which seems to be causing this issue. I believe I went down to Clover_v2.3k_r3726.

Is anyone have issues with Sleep/Wake?
