Will the GT 1030 be compatible?

I am now using this card: https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GT-1030-2GH-LP-OC.html#hero-overview

I had the GTX 1050 installed previously with drivers and it was a simple swap, then it worked on first boot. Performance is of course worse than 1050 and the price difference is too small, I think, but the silence is nice!

I am running 1920x1080 over HDMI. Haven't got hardware to the 4k via DP.

Have you tried the MSI iPhone app for overclocking it? it would be very cool if that worked on a video card under MacOS

It doesn't seem to work. I can't get a connection.

Standard settings, I just opened the app and ran the benchmark. The GPU, being passive, got a bit warm to touch, but seemed to run without throttling down.

macOS 10.12.4 with Nvidia drivers.

I now have the MSI GT 1030 with the fan. I ran "Valley." Definitely a playable card for Starcraft II

does the displayport out work without problems?

Great to see 1030 pascal working.
Beside nvidia web driver graphics enabler yes in chameleon / clover has similar setting ? Some Nvdia dont "want" the nvidia inject other need that for QE.

Can you try my Nbody Metal Bench (gpu compute using Metal, like OpenCL).
My GTX 650 gets this:

I am running a DP to Hdmi-cable right now at 1080p. It works. Haven't tried 4K.

Tried ASUS GT 1030 today: not recognized, "unknown" and webdrivers show empty slots... Anyone an idea?

Anyone an idea?

BIOS - Disable Integrated graphics - Set PEG as Primary
Use a digital connection - DVI or HDMI - VGA is not supported.
Boot with nv_disable=1
May need to update Clover
Install web drivers
Config.plist - Do not inject Intel or Nvidia graphics and no ig-platform-id
Config.plist - Disable SIP fully - CsrActiveConfig 0x67
Edit config.plist - NvidiaWeb = true as per Link
May need to emulate native NVRAM - Problem 6
Remove nv_disable=1 from config.plist
May need to install Lilu.kext and NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext to /Library/Extensions

Thank you, but tried all that already. Problem is: Although webdrivers do force load, card isn't even recognized in "Nvidia Driver Manager Preferences". For what people wrote here, macOS should have had at least recognized it as Nvidia and it should have native support in High Sierra! Or am I wrong?
