Hi Gang. Thanks for all the great information. It's really been useful.

I've built the following Hackintosh:

GIGABYTE H77M-D3H
Intel i7 3770 Ivy Bridge
ASUS GEFORCE GT 640 (currently pulled out for install)
16gb (2x8) Corsair Vengeance
Sandisk Extreme 120gb SSD

I've just flashed my bios to the F9 build

I've got Unibeast on USB with Lion. I've also run BridgeHelper on the USB drive.

Every time I click on the USB in UniBeast (whether simply clicking enter, or by entering any combo of -x, PCIRootGUI=0, GraphicsEnabler=no), the screen goes black and then the apple screen pops up for less than a second then the computer restarts.

I've also set the bios correctly, unless I'm missing something (ATA Port info set to hot plug, Boot options set, SATA set to AHCI, XHCI/EHCI Hand-off set to Enable)

I'm at a loss right now. Nothing seems to be making a difference in getting me into the installer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

PT

IDK Why but anyway it should be PCIRootUID not PCIRootGUI.(GUI means graphical user interface, UID is unique identification number)

Yeah, that is what I meant. Typo

And my unibeast isn't booting...If i use the iBoot-Ivybridge(Chimera)disc to boot i am also getting the restarting problem...:banghead:

I have the same problem cant seem to find the solution anywhere,

I've got the same issue. Waiting on a response. I also have a similar set up.
