*** I'd like help please with a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Xtreme build ***
I am having trouble getting wifi to work.
I originally was trying to get it to work in a PCIe-1X slot and the machine would not boot correctly.
After the suggestion by
@CaseySJ I switched the card to the bottom long slot, and the machine boots, and I have completed a 10.14.6 install
I realized that
the wifi card does not show up.
I was using an MSI Vega 56 Air board on the top slot.
To simplify my setup, I've removed the Vega 56 card and am running with a USB-C-to-DisplayPort cable.
The only card in my computer is the Wifi/BT card.
I have tried it in all the long slots
I am running BIOS f8A (I have tried F6 and F7)
I have tried a BCM94360CS2 card (with a PCIe adapter) and a BCM94360CD card with a different PCIe adapter
The USB connector is connected to the F_USB1 internal port
For anyone else with this board (@
RAPWare @SuDoDmz @augustopaulo @pippo369 @frickergg @jdapolo @ummario ) what port are you using for your wifi/BT board? What NVMe slot are you using? Did you have to do anything to get the wifi card to show up? On other Hackintoshes these wifi/BT cards have been plug-and-play.
Also, I noticed in the Bios, if I look at PCI peripherals, the wifi/BT card does not show up. The Vega 56 card did show up in the BIOS and my NVMe card in slot M2M shows up and is working fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what to try next?
