Dislodging some connector while taking parts off? Check the hardware and reseat everything. Can you boot another OS, for instance a LiveUSB distribution of Linux?

If the hardware is fine, it must be a BIOS setting.

I can boot Windows just fine.

What does the verbose boot screen look like? Pls refer to my previous post.

It is stuck at apfs_load_inode:6462 *** reset ino 43496700 size back to 0 (from 4642)

Took everything(cards, disks etc) out and set graphics to iGPU. I crash at the same place, and the screen shows weird lines and patterns.

That probably refers to dropping the DMAR table.

Are memory slots A2 and B2 still populated with DIMMs?

No. Just A2. Minimal system for testing. Bad idea?
