I am running 10.13.2 on my Hackintosh too on the same machine, just with 16GB RAM.
I just don't know why I got lower benchmark scores.. any suggestions? Edit: Could it be because in SMBIOS I set my Mac to 18,3 i7 7700k

I didn't touch those settings... 4.2GHz is speed.

Well I'm about to move from Sierra to High Sierra now and was checking your process again and seen the attempt to fix audio in your last update. I cannot tell for High Sierra but my method I described here worked everytime:

I also helped a friend configuring his CustoMac with similar specifications as yours and the guide I posted worked like a charm. Maybe worth a try? Keep in mind check the guides if there is anything alternative considered for High Sierra.

Here is the trick:

- Download latest MultiBeast
- Back up AppleHDA.kext (should be the vanilla one - I had vanilla 10.13.3)
- Open S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext/Contents/Resources - then select old `.zlib` files and add a colored tag (this is no needed, but this way you can see what the patch actually did)
- Run MultiBeast / Drivers / Realtek ALCxxx - ALC1220
- Install it
- This adds a few new `.zlib` files to the kext
- Now you should also have 3 kext patches
- 10.12-AppleHDA/Realtek ALC...
- 10.12-AppleHDA/Realtek ALC1220
- AppleHDA/Resources/xml>zml

- First solution does the trick:

• akePCIID.kext (if not installed previously)
• FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext

- Profit after reboot

I had done that previously and while IOReg shows the devices, not even Toleda could fathom why they didn't show up.
