Not open for further replies.
I have already installed snow leopard, Mac OS X 10.6.8 Combo Update, and Multibeast.
and now I am stuck again in the apple logo (after clicking restart) :(

Okay progress... one issue is that using the MultiBeast can introduce issues w this process.

On systems not native to Snow Leo - Ivy Bridge and Haswell Hardware, we do not suggest using MultiBeast - this would be the MultiBeast for Snow Leo I speak of.

What startup switches did you use when you started this project. As you should use this during all Boots from the CD until we instal Mavs.

I would suggest trying the boot switch now, as listed take a picture of the halt or screen and post it.

-v PCIRootUID=0 GraphicsEnabler=Yes IGPEnabler=Yes

What we are looking to accomplish is to get osx SL to connect to the APple app store download Mavs
make USB and install from their.

We only want CPU motherboard and disk for this.. nothing else - use onboard video.

See if that helps.

Also check BIOS to make sure that you disable VT-d also in the BIOS.
Set video to IGMP and memory to 64 or 32 MB ram.

can you try to use this added switch please

-x -v PCIRootUID=0 GraphicsEnabler=Yes

we will leave off the IGMP Enable section

No do not be alarmed if the USB ports do not work - mouse and keyboard should.

If we are lucky we should have a network - the wired connection.

As see if you get to the network,

One other thing watch this video and compare its bios settings to yours...

Some of the terms maybe different but its a Gigabyte motherboard Z77 so its should be similar.
