Hello there!

I have used El Capitan and other OS's in the past with almost no issues, and then I saw that people were updating to Sierra easily so I gave it a try, **but it always gets stuck in the installer screen**.

The installer gets stuck at this point:

I'm really out of ideas, can someone please help out?

BUMP! Please help! :(

Pardon my ignorance, where exactly can I disable the Serial Port (SuperIO) in my BIOS? Can't seem to find the right place :(

Thanks for the help

Look in your motherboard manual - If you have no manual you may download one from the Gigabyte website.
Note that it is often easier with a digital copy of the manual because you can use search.
Serial port / SuperIO is often located in the Peripheral page of the BIOS setup.

Just did that - It is indeed in the Peripherals section although you have to scroll down to see it.
It is on page 60 of your manual :

Motherboard manual said:
Super IO Configuration
This section provides information on the super I/O chip and allows you to configure the serial port.
Serial Port A
Enables or disables the onboard serial port. (Default: Enabled)

Just tried again with the Serial Port disabled and I got stuck at the same point! :(

I disabled nv_drv by checking on nv_disable in the Clover Configurator (latest).

Do you have any more pointers? Appreciate all the help.

Your config.plist from Post #1 is wrong.

You should use nv_disable=1 until you have installed the OS and the web drivers.
If you are using Nvidia why are you injecting Intel graphics ?

I've changed it to nv_disable=1 just didn't post the updated config.plist

I'm also not injecting the Intel graphics anymore, and tried both injecting and not injecting the nvidia ones.

Still lost, any other detail I can show you to give you more ideas?
