Sleep/Wake issues Mac18,3 Mojave & Catalina

Status
Not open for further replies.
I was having this issue again and it was related to the USB port I am using for my keyboard and mouse (through a USB hub). The problem does not happen when I'm using the frontal ports (connected to MoBo JUSB1), and starts as soon as I switch to one of the USB ports on the back (blue USB 3).

It works fine after switching to the frontal USB:

pmset -g stats

Sleep Count:1
Dark Wake Count:1
User Wake Count:1
Fascinating. Why would you use a USB3 port for your keyboard?

check that your USB map is correct, that should fix your issue

Sleep Wake failure in EFI on 10.15.4! Everything works except no wake after sleep. When I reboot I get the error

Failure code:: 0xffffffff 0x0000001f

Any solutions? This has to common issue.
See Terminal pmset -g log below. Also config.plist attached. Thanks!!

[SOLVED] Hello there... I'm new here and I have this system: MSI H81-I; Intel Core i5 4670; Intel HD4600 iGPU; 1 x 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury 1600Mhz RAM; 1 x 240GB SanDisk Plus 2,5" Sata 3 SSD...
Through This guide I managed to get Catalina 10.15.4 working almost 100%, but whenever it sleeps, I get a black screen when it wakes, and the H.D.D activity led gets on, like static on, so I have the push the reset button...
And... I really hope there's a fix for this
Sleep is a feature I really want to be functional...
I've posted a screenshot of my "Other" Kexts and attached my EFI partition as a zip file, as well as the error report just in case someone knows how to fix it...
Meanwhile, I'm going to update lilu and whatevergreen kexts to see if it works... If so, I'll be posting an update...
-> UPDATE: I did it... It doesn't seem to fix it :(

Thank you!!! :D

:beachball:

UPDATE: Managed to get sleep / wake 100% working with clover... Only changed Wake behavior from BIOS to OS on my motherboard UEFI Setup (Still using Clover)... <3

But again: THANK YOUUUU! :3

It's going to be tough to help you if you are using Unibeast.
Try OpenCore it's easier.

I appreciate your feedback, remix0120... Thank you so much!

I'll give it a try... Do you have any "before trying it" kind of advice? (like what I should, and what I should NOT do in the process of setting OpenCore up?)

Also: do you think OpenCore supports my build ?

Once again: Thank you so much!
