Appreciate the details on how to traverse this issue. Pretty much confirms that the d
Sleep Count:6
Dark Wake Count:0
User Wake Count:7

Not sure what to make of the values though.

It shows that the system went to sleep 6 times.

If you have iStat Menus, you can see how much the system slept...

If it's just for the last iteration where it wasn't touched the it should show 1 sleep and 1 wake? If it's overall that's fine as I have opened the lid a few times. I guess my question is why hibernate mode/power nap is not working as was in prior OS. Or how can I find what is preventing deep sleep from kicking in. That's only way I can think for Mac to stop itself from continuous power drain.

I don't know why the sleeps and wakes are not on a 1 to 1 ratio. It's the same for me...

The only way I know to see what the problem may be is with the following Terminal command:
Code:
pmset -g log | grep -i failure

Edit:
I jury-rigged an IR receiver from an old MacBook to my system and it sometimes causes my hackintosh to wake when I use the remote to control my TV or my Apple TV. Those may contribute to more wakes than sleeps. Just a guess...

I contacted the seller and got a replacement. Exact same model. The replacement worked fine and allowed my system to sleep.

You can test if this is the cause for your sleep problems by just pulling the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card and adaptor.

my problem is youtube Audio choppy/laggy after sleep.
I also have Wifi/Bluetooth card attach on adapter. do you think that bad adapter caused this issue?

I don't know about that... Seems unlikely to me...

newbie here and facing same issues.... just got to install catalina 10.15.2 on my i5 8400 rx5700 XT z370 prime aii...i went thru sleepless nights and spent hours trying all sorts to get it to install which i am soooo glad i did...but now i am faced with the audio and not waking from sleep problem. as a newbie to hackintosh..creating this and that was a bit confusing..so i kept on trying all sorts of efi`s i see on the internet and moving this and that and finally!! i installed it with the efi folder included and my rx5700 xt picked up!.only obvious tweak i remember is not installing with whatevergreen text, which i got from somewhere. pls advise me on what to do incase i have done something wrong. also i have the fenvi wifi and bluetooth card.

ps..i think i moved some kext files to the library/extentions folder to get my audio working....just incase anyone needs this

There's another user with the same issue as you. I don't have a solution, but perhaps you guys can help each other...
