I think these settings are for the lazy man so there is no need to generate a ssdt. It obviously creates conflict.

Here is my new score up from 5314 and 17370. All I changed was to Enable XMP to YES in clover and then setup XMP in the bios. Thanks for the tip

Hi guys

Need a little advice with my latest Geekbench scores. My previous score were with XMP enabled are were slightly faster than without XMP. However, before testing for my latest scores I enabled HWPenable and UseARTFrequency and put 4500 in Frequency MHz. The problem is my single core score is down and multi core only very slightly up.

Also, when I check Bios there are two CPU frequencies but both are showing as standard 4200MHz even though I expected one to show 4500MHz.

In about this Mac the CPU is showing as Intel Xeon even though it is i7700k and the speed is showing as 4.3 when before I changed these settings it was showing as 4.2MHz

What am I doing wrong?

Check you mobo bios settings in CPU frequencies.Did you enable or set overclocking to 45?

4.5 is how fast the chip goes with turbo boost active. Do I need to overclock the cpu in order for this to work?

If I overclock to 4.6 I only get a very slight increase on my score.

Check your clover ACPI folder, if you have ssdt.aml they may be counteracting the HWP settings. Clover bootloader injects a few for the setup/installation. Most people leave them there and don't know they are there. Others remove them and some create their own. You could try removing them but keep them handy in case it won't boot and you need to replace them. Check the threads in creating ssdt's with PRgen using terminal.

Check out Pastrychefs comments a few pages ago. They did not like the hwp settings.

HI Everyone! What do you think about this result good or not?
Anyway if someone need I can post full installation process but for now I will upload full pack of kexts and files this should be enough...
Maybe some of you have the same configuration you can use mine as well. Please check the clover's kext pack cause some of kexts are lying there.
Fully Patched DSDT,generated SSDTs with Nvidia Graphics Disabler, Vanilla Apple HDA with Dummy and Network kexts are included except wireless card in my case it was replaced, never mind because absent in DSDT.
And the most important thing is Updated (Microcode,Intel Integrated HD etc.) and Unlocked MSR Bios ver., 2.21 with advanced setup, tested. Enjoy and good HACK GUYS!!!
