What does About my Mac say ?

Your graphics setup (internal Intel HD Graphics) doesn't match your model profile (iMac14,2, I guess). iMac14,2 profile has two GPUs, GFX0 (Nvidia) and IGPU (Intel HD Graphics). If you use only the internal graphics, there may be some problems, such as power management etc. I think iMac14,1 would suit your setup because it only has internal graphics (Intel HD Graphics).

Hey guys, I just want to add to the conversation that I also just experienced the pink screen on shutdown. Got this Imac used last week and been testing it. Everything else seems to be ok. I wasn’t using a guest account or any other user other than my admin account. I almost panicked because my last imac’s video card fried and I never recovered it due to high cost for replacement. I really hope this is not a hardware problem, or else I might have to tap out with this company. Any other info on this would be great. Thanks

btw my machine is a late 2013 i5 2.7 with the Iris Pro 5200.

I doubt that it is a Hardware issue since I dont had that pink screen before installing High Sierra
