Remove your 950 and enable the integrated Intel UHD graphics.
Really?!
My Z170X-UD3 integrated Intel UHD is supported in High Sierra and Mojave?!

Intel has integrated the graphics into the CPU since about 2011. The chip is not on the motherboard.

What does Apple have to do with Nvidia not writing drivers?

McDonald's is not responsible for Heinz ketchup. Apple is not responsible for Nvidia drivers.

Apple is not responsible for writing drivers for Nvidia but they are responsible for providing the driver signature which Nvidia need. Without it they can't release the driver.

Nvidia has to write drivers before there's anything for Apple to sign.

Even if Apple really is refusing to sign drivers, nothing can stop Nvidia from releasing unsigned drivers. Users just have to disable SIP to use them.

Read it again. Where does it say they have drivers? Where does it say Apple won't sign them?

All it says is that they are "ready and eager to help Apple deliver great drivers". That means they currently have nothing.

The fact is, there are no drivers for Apple to sign.

Sorry, my bad :banghead: . So the main problem is apple removed support of CUDA from Mojave that's what stopping Nvidia...right? Also what does it mean by "Apple fully controls drivers for mac" ?

Cuda doesn't work without the Nvidia web drivers. Nvidia hasn't released any web drivers.

I guess Nvidia is talking about the built-in drivers in macOS. That's the only place Apple has full control of drivers. Otherwise, it's the users who have full control of what drivers are installed in to their systems. As hackintosh users, we do this all the time. We install things like the IntelMausiEthernet drivers to get networking working. Do you think Apple signed that driver???

Drivers don't have to be signed by Apple if CIP is disabled, Nvidia could release unsigned drivers if they wanted.

The issue is that Nvidia simply don't have updated drivers ready yet .... nobody except Nvidia know the reason why and they are not disclosing any information on the current state (if any) of the development.

Other than Tom's (from Nivida) comment about how Nvidia would be willing to help Apple debug their bundled Mojave drivers there is absolutely no other official news. Apple appear to be removing any posts related to the on going lack of Mojave Nvidia Web Drivers on the official Apple forums and Nvidia have not made any official announcement as to an ETA.

Many people have speculated that Tom's post and Apples actions may suggest that the relationship between Apple and Nvidia is still strained, but it's important to remember that all the chatter in the forums is purely speculation.

The truth is that at the end of the day Nvidia could quite easily turn their back on MacOS support and Apple could continue to only support AMD GPU's and nether company's sales would suffer. Don't think for one moment that customer loyalty is on the minds of either Apple or Nvidia with regards to non-native Nvidia Support in Mojave.

It's not a great situation and the lack of any official information on the matter from Nvidia is making a lot of dedicated Nvidia users very frustrated, many Apple based content/media studios have already made the switch to AMD but still hope that Nvidia will come good at some point in the future ...

For now we just have to accept that the situation is what it is, the only options we have right now are to stay on High Sierra with the last released Nvidia Drivers or switch to using Intel IGPU's or move over to team red and replace Nvidia card with AMD.

Cheers
Jay
