No Sound - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

Thank you for your reply Toleda, I am still trying to solve this issue.

I will read the guide and try to modify the new AppleHDA.

The strange thing is the old patched AppleHDA works in El Capitan Developer Preview, but not in final release, and not in 10.11.1 beta. It just won't load and I get stuck before I should get DSMOS has Arrived.

To be continued...

SOLVED!!!!

I found a newer patched version of AppleHDA, version 2.1.3, speakers finally work :D.
I have attached the kext for other ones with the same problem, took me 2 days to solve this one.

Only it won't detect headphones or line out, I am not sure if internal mic is working, I will test later, I am really glad my speakers finally work :D

Damian

Two problems:
1. AppleHDA.kext: see Post #629.
2. x99 controller patch missing: Download/config-audio_cloverALC-x99.plist.zip, add config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/10.9.4-10.10-/x99 ALC Onboard Audio

Thanks for your answer toleda.

so i've done this :
- remove my appleHDA
- Install with kext wizard the one from post 629
- launch the terminal command (here is the report : View attachment Terminal Saved Output2.zip)
- edit with clover configurator my config.plist and add KextsToPatch/10.9.4-10.10-/x99 ALC Onboard Audio

When rebooting, kernel panic error during loading... then black screen and auto reboot...
Here's a picture of the kernel message just before black screen/reboot : DSC_0128.jpg

Only way to boot again without kernel panic is to unchek fixaudio in clover boot options, as here :DSC_0129.jpg

Here's my new config.plist View attachment config.plist

Thanks for your help.

KP is not an audio problem.
set config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/NO (all settings or remove)

ok with all dsdt fixes removed i boot without issues...but now don't have any audio outputs available in system prefs...

EDIT : should i redoo the command ??? should i add rename ALZA to HDEF in my dsdt patches in config.plist ?

EDIT 2 :
i've tried to reinstall applehda from post 629, then open again your terminal command, and got error message :
Code:
[FONT=Menlo]File: audio_cloverALC-110.command_v1.0g[/FONT][FONT=Menlo]EFI partition is mounted[/FONT]
[FONT=Menlo]Boot/Arguments = kext-dev-mode=1 found[/FONT]
[FONT=Menlo]Error: no IOReg/HDEF; BIOS/audio/disabled or ACPI problem[/FONT]
[FONT=Menlo]No system files were changed[/FONT]

[FONT=Menlo]logout[/FONT]
[FONT=Menlo]
[/FONT]
[FONT=Menlo][Process completed][/FONT]

I used the DSDT from my mainboard EX58-Extreme (Bios F12) and I does show the 885 in the hardware overview, but when I run the audio_cloverALC-110_v1.0g installer and it detects the ALC885/889A is says not supported, while it was running fine in all previous versions like Yosemite, Mountain Lion using Mulitbeast.
